Hiroshi shows-off his super-rare, one-off Campagnolo time-trial chainring.

Motohashi-san always sets up next to me along with Soejima-san. Here he is smiling at my stuf!

It was hazy when I first arrived at the site of the "Frea market"

Without a doubt, several of the rarest Campy parts you will ever see.

Always hamming-it-up for the camera.

My NOS Cambio Corsa set caught some attention.

Super-rare Cinelli stem with Cino's "C" before Cinelli.

Nakano-san has spent a few bux with me the last few years.

Lots of damn cute little bikes in Japan.

Nice bilaminate-lugged British bike

I really wanted to buy this, but it was too expensive for me.

I don't know what this contraption was, but I liked it.

Lots of folks were cooking out.

Crackin' those nuts in style!

Silk top tube pad for $10

Anime!

Despite a global financial crisis, everyone was happy.

I usually start hitting the sauce around 10:00 am.

Someone insisted that I try this. It's a grapefruit-flavored jelly in a squeeze pouch. I guess they "drink" it. I politely smiled, took a "sip" and then threw it away when they weren't looking.

Hasegawa was in a crazy buying and trading frenzy with Scott Davis.

Great-looking old chrome racer.

Super-rare campy.

The Kierin Gold Cup was advertised in the train station with this HUGE posters. They were about 12 feet wide and 8 feet high. God I wanted one...

My employer happened to be attending this event in central Tokyo at the same time I was there, so I went to it and hung out with a colleague for a while.

I spent some time wandering around this outdoor antique fair. I bought some old Godzilla picture cards.

I spent some time in Akihabara which is the electronics district. I wanted to find a certain model of Canon digital camera. No one had it, because they only carry the newest models. Everything that we think is "new" in the US is an old model in Japan.

Narita airport has some nice, artistic features.
